Luke Haynes (handsome fella in the first photo below) is a contemporary quilter based in Los Angeles. Next month, the architect-turned-textile magician will be displaying 50 — that’s right fifty! brand new quilts using the log cabin quilting technique/pattern, inspired by minimalist artist Donald Judd (1028-1994). I helped create some of Luke’s promotional imagery for the show (also, below) while he was in town recently and I’ll be down in L.A. for the show next month as well. Full event details and a much more coherent description of the project can be found here.
